Ms. Danielle Bills, LCSW, Licensed Clinical Social Worker
PERSONAL STATEMENT:
There are a variety of reasons someone might decide to seek therapy. Often they are coupled with feelings of powerlessness, fear, and a sense of being overwhelmed. However, by reaching out for help, there can also be a sense of empowerment fueled by a belief something can change. My intent is to meet you where you are in that process. Therapy is a deeply personal experience that requires an approach that is tailored to your specific needs.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My belief is that therapy should be a collaborative process with you and your therapist. A strong therapeutic alliance will always be a priority. While a perception in therapy is that the therapist knows best, the reality is that you are the expert of your experiences. Together, we can identify what has brought you into therapy and establish your goals that we will be working towards. Throughout the process our focus centers around building off of your strengths and how they lay the groundwork for a healthier future. Therapy can be a beautifully vulnerable place and you deserve to feel a sense of trust and acceptance. This is how we can dive into the hard stuff and facilitate growth, in whatever way that looks like for you.
