Geographic Search Parameters

Clicking on the name of a country, state or province will check that box too.
If no states are selected, then the search is country-wide!

Search By a City Name

City names that are common to multiple States will give you the data count for each City in every State selected. Also, city name spellings are not consistent and the USPS city/town names do not always jibe with the actual town the resident is in, especially in sparsely populated rural areas. Zip codes & county names are a lot more accurate way to get the right geographical matches.

Use the Zip Codes or SCF Codes specific to the City and it's Metropolitan area for the Best Results.

The zip codes can be separated by spaces or any non numeric character like a comma. All non-numeric characters will be stripped out. Only the first 5 digits of the zip code are used. There is a 25000 character limit.

5 Ways to Search for Business by Industry with SIC Codes

SIC Query Option I:
Search through the Description of the Industry the Code is in.
Example: Insurance
This will find all SIC Codes that have insurance in their description field then reload the SIC box below in Section ll with onea having your search parameter in them.

Search on SICS Description:  

SIC Query Option II:
Click on the SIC Codes/Business Industry you desire.
(Hold the Control key down to select more than one SIC Business Category)


SIC Query Option III:
SIC Codes are often assigned by ranges for different types of business within an Industry. You may also enter a Range of SICS to obtain all type of Business.

For Example: If you select 5700, you will get all codes between 5700 & 5799.
To select multiple ranges, hold the control or shift key down to select another range.
SIC to NAICS Code Relations 		Select a Range(s) by 100 lots:    Or Select a Range(s) by 1000 lots:
